Jonesfield Township is currently seeking individuals interested in serving as election inspectors for the upcoming August and November elections.
Election inspectors play a vital role in protecting the integrity of Michigan’s elections. They are the trained individuals who greet voters, check them in, issue ballots, assist with accessibility needs, and ensure every step of the process is carried out fairly and accurately. Michigan elections rely on bipartisan teams of inspectors to maintain a strong system of checks and balances, helping voters cast their ballots with confidence and ensuring every vote is counted as it should be. Without enough dedicated inspectors, polling locations cannot operate smoothly — which is why community members stepping up to serve makes such a meaningful difference.
