The Jonesfield Township board would like to compile a list of residents who may be interested in future opportunities serving on the Planning Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals or the Fire Board.
Serving on the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, or Fire Board is one of the most meaningful ways residents can shape the future of their community. These boards guide how land is used, ensure development is safe and responsible, protect property rights, and support the essential services that keep the township safe. Members help make decisions that affect everything from new homes and businesses to emergency response readiness. When residents step up to serve, they bring local knowledge, common‑sense judgment, and a commitment to the well‑being of their neighbors — strengthening transparency, accountability, and the long‑term health of the township.
